Information Security
Information Security refers to the policies and measures that an organization deploys to protect critical information and data, especially electronic data, from unauthorized access, use, or release.
The term also refers to the industry and professional skillset responsible for deploying these policies and measures, and a generally cautious, identity-driven approach to information access, storage, retrieval, and exchange.
